Similar to our Eaux de Parfum, our candles diffuse beautiful fine fragrances and are made of the finest ingredients.
Inspired by the essence of each fragrance, New York illustrator Al Eugene Naclerio has partnered with Valeur Absolue Parfums to create the unique and whimsical artwork for each of our scented candles. Once empty, each of the beautiful glasses can then be reused to hold pens, cotton tips, flowers… creating a unique decorative collection.
Our candles are made with materials 100% of natural origin. These mixtures of vegetable oils are selected by Valeur Absolue, the main one being coconut.
Our basic raw material is classified in the RSPO Fair Trade. The number of PPM is tiny compared to mandatory standards.
They are free of heavy metals, allergens and pesticides.
They DO NOT contain the substances on the OSPAR list.

How to care for your candle
Candle Care Instructions and Warnings
In order to optimise how well your candle will burn and how to avoid smoke and spillage, please follow our top seven candle care tips:
- Remove any candle labels or cellophane before burning.
- Protect surfaces with a candle plate to catch any leakage or make sure surfaces are heat and stain resistant.
- Always keep wick trimmed to 5mm (trimming is best done before and during burning) and clear away wick debris each time.
- Each candle has different burn time instructions, so please read labels carefully. Our Granite Pillar candles, for example, should burn for no more than 3 hours each time. This will prevent spillage and make the most efficient use of the wax.
- In general, when burning a candle for the first time, burn it long enough to create a large hole. Depending on the type of candle, the time will vary between 3–4 hours. This will then set the ‘memory’ and will determine the way the candle will burn each time it is lit.
- Store candles out of direct sunlight and at room temperature. Burn them in a well-ventilated room.
- Stop burning your Soy Candle 1cm before the bottom of the jar. Although it is tempting to get the most burn time out of your candle if the jar becomes too hot a breakage may occur. Rest assured we have accounted for this and you will still get the stated burn time!

- Remove any décor above or nearby the open flame.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
